Our traders participate in courses and lectures worldwide, because professional advice about fuels and lubricants demands a detailed knowledge of today’s market. The balance between quality and price requires a great understanding of the fuels’ properties and since we are always responsible for the products, our traders have obtained a substantial expertise in the various oil qualities.
In their daily work the traders have access to specially developed computer applications, which, among other things, calculates the calorific value of the fuels (click here and try a simple version of the fuel calculator). In this way each trader is able to calculate the most cost efficient bunker solution - in other words: more nautical miles per dollar!
